ISASMELT™

The ISASMELT™ process delivers clean, cost-effective, high intensity smelting using a Top Submerged Lance (TSL). It is a versatile process, and is suited to a range of applications including primary and secondary (recycling) copper smelting and copper converting (ISACONVERT™), primary and secondary (recycling) lead smelting, primary nickel smelting and converting, and tin, zinc and precious metals smelting. The TSL design enables high intensity smelting to take place in a small diameter furnace, providing high productivity from a relatively small footprint. New ISASMELT™ installations are able to achieve design capacity quickly, and their unique TSL design enables them to operate in some of the most stringent air quality environments in the world.

ISAKIDD Technology

ISAKIDD Technology consist of the combined strength of ISA PROCESS™ and KIDD PROCESS™, the developers and leaders in Copper Electro Refining and Electro Winning technology. ISAKIDD Technology provide a range of stainless steel cathode technology designed for highly efficient low cost copper production. The technology includes ISA 2000 cathodes, BR and HP Cathodes, Duplex Cathodes, mechanical and robotic stripping machines for high and low capacity operation, as well as providing tankhouse design packages.

IsaMill™

The IsaMill™ is the most energy efficient, highest intensity large scale grinding technology on the market, resulting in reduced energy usage, a small footprint and simple installation and maintenance. It is well suited to fine grinding duties as well as mainstream grinding, where the action of the inert ceramic media frequently improves metallurgical performance. The IsaMill™ produces a steep particle size distribution in open circuit without needing internal screens or closed circuit cyclones, and is robust and easy to operate. It is used for a range of applications including base metals, industrial minerals, magnetite and PGM’s and precious metals.

Jameson Cell

The Jameson Cell is a self aspirating flotation cell that produces fine air bubbles and does not require air compressors or blowers. The cell has no moving parts, and are designed for a small footprint. They are equipped with froth washing capabilities as well as a simple tailings recycle system that allows for stable operation. They are well suited for recovering fast floating, liberated and/or hydrophobic minerals, and are used in base metal, coal, bitumen sands and industrial mineral flotation.

Albion Process

The Albion Process is able to treat concentrates produced from refractory base and precious metal ores in a reliable and low cost process. It utilises a hot oxidative leach on the finely ground concentrates at atmospheric pressure to recover the metals from the complex ores, and does not require autoclaves or bacterial cultures. It can also treat dirty concentrates, particularly those containing arsenic, as well as being able to treat both low and high grade material.

Other related technology able to be used with the Albion Process includes the ZipaTank™, the innovative fast installation tank technology, as well as the HyperSparge™, a highly efficient process for injecting gas into slurries and liquids
